Bottom fishing can be one of the most enjoyable trips.
We go after the "big boys"
like grouper, snapper, Mahi Mahi, Mackerel and amberjack.

Bottom fishing is done as you might think "on the bottom."
The Captain takes the boat over an artificial reef or natural bottom
where you will drop (fire down) a live or cut bait.
With a little luck you should have a fish or at least a bite in a very short while.

Red Snapper, Grouper and Amberjack are some of our most sought after bottom fish.
Although you can never tell what you may come up with.

Triggerfish, Vermillion Snapper, White Snapper, Black Snapper, plus many other fish
including Shark, Mahi-Mahi, and Mackerels may be caught while bottom fishing.

Due to the depth of the water and the time it takes to get to the fishing spots.
It requires at least an eight hour trip to bottom fish effectively,
although most people prefer the ten-twelve hour trip.

For our serious fishermen we also offer sixteen hour to two day trips.
